MARCH was established in 2005 by a board of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) patients and other supporters affected by IBD. The Foundation is a neutral, non-profit, patient-focused organization with a simple mission to improve the quality of life for IBD patients and their families today.
We accomplish our mission by funding programs programs and activities that fit into three key strategic priorities:
- Empower and Educate Patients: Provide patients and their families with the information, support programs and resources they need to confidently manage their disease.
- Help Improve Professional Medical Care: We help increase the ability and capacity of medical professionals and the health care system to care for and treat IBD patients.
- Provide a Voice for Patients & Families: We provide a strong, unified voice for IBD patients and families on issues of both concern and opportunity.
Together with other IBD-focused foundations, the GI medical community, and funding partners, MARCH IBD Care Foundation can meet these needs.
